Good, authentic food, with a very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a small place with a local/familial feel.

A great authentic place... try their lingua it is tender and flavorful. Tacos come really plain with just meat on a tortilla but they have a great salsa bar to dress it up the way you want... this is a great place to get a quick really satisfying bite when you are wine tasting in the valley!!

Decent hole in the wall taqueria meant to get money out of tourist. A little pricey for Mexican food but you are out in the middle of nowhere. Quality of food is decent, not the best I've had but ok. I'm sure if you're a local you get a discount.

Had to be some of the worst Mexican food I have had. No flavor which is sad because the salsa was good but that was the only thing. We had nachos a burrito tacos and a quesadilla.

Authentic Mexican Cuisine. The shrimp and crab nachos were delicious good prices and friendly staff.

Taqueria Del Valle is a long-standing Carmel Valley institution. It is the preferred Mexican food joint for locals and visitors alike. The chimichangas here are world-class. They are the chimichangas by which I judge all other chimichangas (so far, none come close!).

If I could give negative stars... They serve substandard meat, dried out and poorly cooked. "How can anyone ruin nachos?" They manage. A Taco Bell would be an improvement. Taco Bells are horrible, but this place did not even serve food that was good enough to be bad food. This is not Mexican food, and it is just barely food. Please walk to Plaza Linda, down the street. We regret patronizing this restaurant.

Not authentic. Food wasn't good and they didn't know what Dos Equis Amber was.

"Authentic" Mexican food, as far as I know. I've never been to Mexico. A lot of variety, all the dishes you'd expect to find at a taqueria. Salsa bar was good, no fountain drinks though. Busy place too, we're there on a weekday around 2pm. Only two employees, cook and wait, sharing duties and keeping up admirably. Neat little town.
